We prefer STEP (.stp) or IGES (.igs) for 3D models, and PDF or DWG/DXF for 2D drawings with tolerances and surface finish specifications.
If you only have a 2D drawing or a different format, contact us - we'll find a way to work with what you have.
We accept orders from a single piece (1 unit). There is no minimum order quantity. We work with clients at every stage - from one-off prototypes through to large production runs.
Yes. We are happy to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) upon request before any drawings or project information are shared. Simply let us know when you make contact.
All project details are treated as strictly confidential regardless of whether an NDA is in place.
Payment terms are agreed on a per-order and per-client basis. Please contact us to discuss the arrangement that works best for your situation.
Yes - we ship worldwide. We support all major freight options including express couriers (DHL, FedEx, UPS) and sea freight for larger volumes. We can assist with customs documentation and export declarations on request.
If no tolerance is specified, we machine to ISO 2768-mK as standard. In practice this means dimensional tolerances within ±0.03mm and surface roughness around Ra 0.8.
For tighter requirements, tolerances down to 0.003mm and roughness to Ra 0.1 are achievable - simply specify them on your drawing.
Yes. We can provide a Material Data Sheet (EN 10204-2.1) or Material Certificate (EN 10204-3.1) for any order on request. Simply include this requirement when placing your order.
Lead times vary by process and complexity:
- Sheet Metal: as little as 3 days for simple parts
- Vacuum Casting: 5-10 days from master approval
- CNC Machining: typically 7-15 days depending on complexity
- Vacuum Casting (tooling): 38-48 days for mold, then production
We always confirm the lead time in your quote. Rush orders can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
Yes - for every order. Before shipment we send a full inspection report and real photographs of your parts for your approval. Parts are only shipped after your confirmation.
See our Quality Assurance and Inspection Capabilities for details.

We mainly serve engineering and product companies in Europe and North America - from startups validating their first prototype to SMEs and established manufacturers with recurring production runs.
Typical industries include machine building, robotics, industrial equipment, medical devices and consumer products.
Before committing, we recommend checking these points with any supplier:
- A valid ISO 9001 certificate (ask for the registration number)
- A sample inspection report from a real order
- Whether production is in-house or outsourced
- Inspection equipment - e.g. CMM measurement
- Whether you talk to an engineer or a sales layer
JF Precision meets all of these points and provides supporting documentation on request.
Yes. JF Precision holds ISO 9001:2015 certification (registration no. 1982QA0004R0S), accredited by CNAS and IAF. The certificate is valid through January 2028. You can view or request a copy via our Quality Assurance page.
